Silkway IT was founded on more than a decade of hands-on experience working inside law firms, starting with PC builds and back-office support, then moving through mass deployments, imaging, help desk tooling, user support, infrastructure ownership and eventually IT management.
That legal-sector foundation was then sharpened in MSP leadership roles supporting secure healthcare, prison, immigration and other high-scrutiny environments. The work involved stabilising inherited estates, building out tooling, standardising support, improving visibility, and introducing the controls needed to run safely under pressure.
In one previous MSP role, the operational side of IT was effectively rescued by introducing RMM, stronger standards, better documentation and tighter control of customer environments.
